- Do I need to create an account to use Pornder?
- No. Pornder works without registration. Your swipe history and preferences are stored anonymously on your device. Creating an account lets you sync preferences across devices and is required for Watch Together matches.
- How quickly do recommendations improve?
- You'll notice the feed shifting after 20–30 swipes. After 100 swipes your Discover feed is significantly personalized. The algorithm weights recent swipes more heavily, so if your taste changes the feed adapts within a session.
- What is a Match on Pornder?
- A Match is created when two different users both swipe right on the same video. Pornder treats that shared preference as a compatibility signal and introduces you to each other. From a Match you can chat or start a Watch Together session.
- How does Watch Together work technically?
- Watch Together uses a WebSocket connection to keep both users' playback state synchronized. When one person pauses, seeks, or selects a new video, the change is broadcast to their partner in under 100ms. There's no need to install anything — it runs in your browser.
- Is my viewing history visible to other users?
- No. Your swipe history is private. The only information shared with another user is that you both liked the same video — which is what creates a Match. No one can browse your full liked list.
